San Francisco is apparently offering free rides home to Honduran crack dealers.
San Francisco juvenile probation officials - citing the city’s immigrant sanctuary status - are protecting Honduran youths caught dealing crack cocaine from possible federal deportation and have given some offenders a city-paid flight home with carte blanche to return.
As the November elections near, Americans may want to take a close look at the senators who have voted to protect sanctuary cities. Of course, it’s no surprise that Sen. Obama is an ardent supporter.
- May 24, 2007: Coleman amendment would have permitted State and local government employees under Federal law to acquire information regarding individuals’ immigration status if there was probable cause to believe those individuals’ were not lawfully present in the United States.
