2012 Election Cycle
The Senate Conservatives Fund only endorses the strongest conservative candidates for U.S. Senate. Hundreds of candidates run for the Senate each election cycle so it can be difficult to identify the ones who are the most principled and who have what it takes to win. Here are the candidates SCF has endorsed for the 2012 elections. We will continue to evaluate each race and add candidates to this list when necessary.

Jeff Flake fought a lonely battle against earmarks for years, even when it meant standing up to members of his own party who refused to stop pork barrel spending. Without his leadership, House Republicans would not have adopted the earmark moratorium last year.

Mandel has won the Republican primary and is now running against incumbent Democrat U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, rating among the most liberal politicians in the U.S. Senate.
