Primary Countdown
Wednesday, July 25, 2018Combat veteran and businessman John James (R-MI) has closed the gap with his liberal primary opponent, Sandy Pensler (R-MI).
After starting the race with virtually no name awareness and very limited support, James has surged into an even tie, 28% to 28%.
There are still many undecided voters so we need to dig deep and do everything we can to help push him on to victory.
Please make an urgent contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more to the campaign of John James.
The primary in Michigan is on August 7 so there’s less than two weeks to make an impact on this race.
Pensler is using $5 million of his own personal fortune to attack James on the airwaves and to drown out the voices of the conservative grassroots. Pensler is pro-choice, he favors government-run health care, and he is highly critical of President Trump.
The winner will face liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) who has lost favor with the voters. This is our chance to nominate a strong conservative who will energize Republicans in Michigan and take the seat from the liberals in Washington.
Thank you for your generous support.
